We use our Laptop to play all of our background music and some of our sound effects for our Halloween party and our yard haunt. One cool advantage is that you can play a music CD and also play WAV, MP3 or MIDI sounds files at the same time. We use a small professional mixing board hooked up to a large speaker system. For the party, people take turns being the D.J. using CD's that they have brought or hooking their MP3 player to the system. For our yard haunt, we place speakers around the main graveyard scene and run the sound effects and mood music through. You'll find tips on using the types of systems below coming soon!
